Oran Group History
The Snowie Group began operating as a family farm in the late 1950’s.By the early 1980’s, the decision was made to diversify into land restoration and then recycling to agricultural land.
Since then, the company has become an established market leader within the waste management industry, throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe, offering several specialist services.
Consistent professionalism and reliability, and the substantial investment in pioneering technology and quality control systems, lead to the company being awarded the BS:EN ISO 9001:2000 in 2002 and BS:EN ISO 14001:2004 in 2006.
On the 9th September 2005, the Snowie Group was acquired by Oran Waste UK Limited, a family owned business based in Cork, Ireland, which is committed to continuing the success of the company, using the expertise and knowledge of employees to strengthen and grow the company further.
On 11th September 2006, the company unveiled their new company name and identity – The Oran Group.
The Oran Group is a successful waste management company, who has become a market leader over the past twenty years. The Oran Group provides customers with a diverse and complete range of integrated services and strives to satisfy customers whilst protecting the environment.
