News — Snowie Group goes from strength to strength

Friday 16 April 2004

The Stirling-based Snowie Group has consolidated its position and reputation as one of the UK’s leading waste management companies with the announcement that it has been awarded a two-year contract by Scottish Water.

The brief covers the transport and re-use of untreated wastewater cake and the recycling of conventionally treated digested cake at ten sites in the Highland region, including Allanfearn at Inverness. Work under the contract, worth £200,000 per annum, commenced on April 1, 2004.

The Snowie Group has been operating in the specialist field of liquid waste management for 20 years and works for water companies right across the UK – from Scottish Water in the north to Southern Water and South West Water in the south; and from Water Services (Northern Ireland) in the west to Northumbrian Water and Thames Water in the east.
