The Snowie Group has purchased the site and transport assets of Dundas Brothers Ltd, Kintore.

Dundas Brothers Ltd closed the rendering plant after SEPA issued a Prohibition Notice requiring certain works to be carried out. Dundas Brothers Ltd has today (Thursday) gone into liquidation and Blair Nimmo of KPMS has been appointed Liquidator.

Once the plant, equipment and remaining materials have been cleared by the liquidator, The Snowie Group will undertake a review of the rendering facility and the equipment therein, in full consultation with SEPA.

No decision will be made on the future of the rendering plant at Kintore for some months.
