News — The Oran Group…the new name for Snowie

Snowie, leaders within the waste management industry, have announced today that they have been re-branded as the Oran Group.  This news follows an announcement made on 9th September 2005 that Snowie had been acquired by Irish based Oran Waste UK Limited. 

Accompanying this change of name is the release of a strong new identity, which will be applied to all divisions within the group, including Oran Recycling and Oran Logistics and Storage.  The new logo has been designed to reflect the company’s commitment to working in partnership with customers, suppliers and communities in which they operate, whilst representing the strong Irish and Scottish roots of the company. 

The Oran Group has experienced great success and growth over the past 20 years, currently employs over 300 people throughout the UK and provides a complete range of integrated services including waste management and recycling, recycling to agricultural land, co-composting, logistics and storage, vehicle and equipment hire, industrial cleaning and transport.

As specialists in waste management, the company has diversified its interests in recent years, with the establishment of a dry waste recycling facility based in Grangemouth as well as storage and logistics facilities throughout the UK. 

The Oran Group is committed to continuing the success and growth of the business, continuing to provide a complete range of high quality, reliable and reputable services whilst protecting the environment.  The new name and strong identity will help to drive the group forward, securing their position as a leader within the waste management industry.
