NEW SENIOR MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS 

With effect from 1^st October 2007, Doug Aitchison has been appointed as Managing Director of Oran’s UK Operations. Doug joined Oran in April 2006 as Group Financial Controller having previously been in a similar role at Geest, Bo’ness. Doug will be taking on all operational responsibilities previously undertaken by Ben Ballantyne. 

Also on 1^st October 2007, Ben Ballantyne has been appointed as Director of Property for Oran in the UK with responsibility for the management and development of Oran’s extensive UK wide property portfolio. Ben will continue to have operational responsibility for Oran Logistics & Storage Limited. 

We wish to thank Ben Ballantyne for his excellent work as Operations Director handling the post acquisition era, which was a monumental task, and overseeing the development and growth of the company since then.  The company is now very well placed to move to the next stage of development. In his new role as Director of Property, Ben will focus primarily on developing Oran’s extensive property portfolio throughout the UK and pursuing future property development opportunities with some extensive property acquisitions already in the pipeline and expansion of existing sites. This is a key role in the future of Oran UK. Ben will also continue to input and advise on the development of Oran’s other activities. 

We also wish to thank Doug Aitchison for his outstanding work as Financial Controller since joining the company in April 2006.  He has introduced a major transformation in the financial systems in the company through the introduction of a company wide, integrated IT system, which will generate timely and accurate data necessary for the proper management, performance and growth of the company in the future.  Doug has also developed an excellent Finance team to manage the planned expansion of the company. Doug is now taking on the role of MD of Oran’s UK Operations and will focus on managing and delivering the company’s ambitious new business plan.
