News — Oran invest in state-of-the-art fleet

Oran has announced that, as part of their drive for continued growth under the Response Group, the company are investing in a state-of-the-art fleet of Mercedes-Benz trucks. 

This is a positive step forward for Oran, underpinning their commitment to remain as a leader within the UK waste management industry.   

Western Commercial has already delivered two refuse trucks and two skip loaders and has another sixteen tractor units, six hook-loaders and a further two skip loaders on order. 

Peter Deighan joined Oran as Group Transport Manager in 2007 having worked with Mercedes trucks in his previous role. 

He says: “Mercedes-Benz offers a comprehensive product range and breadth of specification to meet all of our requirements, while I know from personal experience, that its vehicles are highly reliable and supported by an excellent dealer network."
